Tim Porteus is an author, writer and storyteller. He loves sharing the wonderful world of folklore, mythology and legend, but he has also developed an interest in collecting and telling modern urban tales, as well as personal family stories and reminiscences. He is an author of two books of folk tales, including one for children, and writes a weekly newspaper column called ‘Tim’s Tales.’ He has developed storytelling programmes extensively in schools and community organisations, with particular emphasis on giving voice to marginalised and excluded groups and individuals.
