The Story of the Loth Stane Diamond
Tim Porteus
Tim Porteus tells the tale of a man called Tam who, on his way home one night, comes across a fairy celebration under the moonlight. This is a legend from a lady called Lizzie Richardson who told stories and made toffee for a living in Haddington a couple of hundred years ago. The story is set near the distinctive hill of Traprain Law in East Lothian – the site of the largest hoard of Roman silver found either inside or outside the Roman Empire.
